Holly’s muse is life itself with all its glorious
insanities and inconsistencies. Her inspiration can come from a visit to the National Portrait Gallery to see the latest exhibition,
say hello to Charles Darwin and to gaze in awe at The House of Commons by Sir George Hayter. It can come from a snippet
of a conversation overheard on the train. It can come from an early morning run. It can come from listening to patients, clients,
healthcare professionals, colleagues and customers. It comes from experience.

Blog technical difficulties sorted
- now, what to write!
Ironically, I've solved my blog tech-stress in the same week as writing
my first "proper" letter for about 25 years! I recently had a significant birthday and one of my presents was a
Victorian writing slope. My first job was to write to the generous giver and thank them. The most surprising thing for me
was how much fun it was. I can't remember the last time I actually wrote a letter with a pen rather than typing an email
to communicate with someone. The nicest thing is that you can't go back and edit constantly, unless you're more patient
than me, so the letter ended up being very much from the heart without being too crafted.
